Fourth Grade

Foundation of 21st Century Skills

Fourth grade is an exciting year but also a transition year. Students are maturing and start to become more aware of the world around them. Their friendships become more important. All this happens while they are expected to do more academically than earlier grades. This will be their second year of standardized testing, which may cause anxiety for some children. Our fourth graders are fortunate to have wonderful teachers, Natalie Shaw and Brandon Miller, who create a safe, and nurturing learning environment where students can successfully meet high expectations.
