Principal Message

Welcome to Inglewood Elementary School! Each day, we are committed to ensuring that every child thrives in a safe, supportive, and academically enriching environment. Our school is a place where curiosity is encouraged, creativity is celebrated, and all learners are valued.

One of the things that makes Inglewood truly special is our dedication to diversity and inclusion. We proudly reflect the rich cultural diversity of our community, and we embrace the unique strengths and perspectives that each student and family brings to our school. This commitment ensures that every learner feels seen, respected, and inspired to achieve their very best.

I believe that every child deserves the opportunity to create fond childhood memories, and Inglewood is the perfect place to do just that. We are proud to be a community school that thrives on connection and shared experiences. From walking in the Tomato Fest Parade to celebrating at our Fall Festival and partnering with neighborhood organizations like Shelby Bottoms, Inglewood is more than just a school, it’s a family. Being a part of Inglewood is something special.

Academically, we are proud to share that Inglewood students are growing in literacy and math. This success is the result of the dedication of our teachers, the determination of our students, and the support of our families. We are committed to continuing this growth through intentional summer planning that focuses on grade-level standards, ensuring that every student is challenged, supported, and prepared for success.

We are also thrilled about the continued growth of our STEAM program—Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics. Through strong partnerships with community organizations and families, we are providing students with hands-on learning opportunities that inspire creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving. These experiences connect classroom learning to the real world and prepare our learners for the challenges and opportunities of the future.

Thank you for trusting us with your child’s education. Together, we will continue to make Inglewood Elementary a place of excellence, creativity, and belonging. A place where every child can learn, thrive, and create memories that will last a lifetime.
