Third Grade

Foundation of 21st Century Skills

With a strong foundation from earlier grades, school becomes more challenging and rigorous. This is the year that students transition from "learning to read" to "reading to learn." Third graders will experience standardized testing for the first time, which may cause some anxiety. Our energetic and passionate third grade teachers, Jessica Coughlin and Carlie Bodart, create a caring, supportive and encouraging learning environment so all students succeed.
